Paul is a former USPTO Patent Examiner and registered US patent agent (Registration No 61,967). In 2009, Paul founded The Patent Box, recognizing the need for a tool designed to help practitioners navigate the nuances of US patent prosecution.
Paul holds a BS in Electrical Engineering and an MS in Computer Systems Engineering, both from Boston University.
Richard is a full-stack web engineer with 15 years of experience designing and developing end-to-end software solutions for companies including National 4-H, Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation, Kaplan Test Prep, and Advanta Bank. He also has experience with start-ups, including his own, The Paper Concierge, which was sold in 2010. He is a graduate of Dickinson College and has experience in a wide range of languages and web-related technologies with particular expertise in Ruby, Ruby on Rails, and Test Driven Development.
